Cycles

You wake up after a horrible nightmare, something feels off as you get out of bed, a certain succession of events keep repeating and you fall and fall deeper into a spiral of trauma and pain while being accosted by some strange presence from the shadows.

Cycles was made as a project for Spooktober 2023's Game Jam. A psychological horror set in a mundane yet twisted world of dream logic and horrors.

• A playthrough should take around 20-30 minutes.

CONTENT WARNING

The game contains mature themes of the following:

• Domestic Abuse
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Psychological horror

The story is about Depression and how it affects the perception of someone, how it becomes a cycle that is hard to escape but that one can eventually defeat.

There are no explicit images within the game but the themes can still be found to be hard for some people so discretion is advise.
